It's The Law

Starting January 1, 2025, NY State requires a boating safety certificate for ALL operators of motorized vessels, regardless of age.

All operators, regardless of age, must have a boating safety certificate to operate a personal watercraft – jetski.

Our Instructors are New York State and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certified and spend many hours assisting Coast Guard Vessel Safety Checks and Public Education.

Private & Corporate Safety Courses Available

If you’re looking for a more private setting such as your office, our instructors can arrange a private class at a location and time convenient to you. Our private classes have the same course curriculum as our public classes, but we can add to our presentation topics of specific interest to your group.

 
  • Our Course fee will vary based on location and number of students.
  • Discounts available for groups of 15 or more.
  • All Students must be at least 10 years old.

Classes are held in Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Sullivan & Westchester Counties.

By all means I would give this course five stars I took it just for the certificate but I received so much more I myself at one time was a merchant Seaman I also at one time owned the 4901 by Henry R Hinckley that's a 50 ft catch rig sailing vessel. Mr Alan Altermam made everyone understand that when you are on water you are 10 times more exposed to very serious injuries and that everyone must act accordingly. This course should be taken by anyone who intends to be on the water even as a passenger because it's everyone's duty to understand what they are expected to do.
