AtNew York Boating Safety our goal is to provide you, the recreational boater, with the highest quality boating safety education so your boating experience can be safe and enjoyable for you and your family.
Upon successful completion of our course, you will be issued a New York State Safe Boater Certificate If you are over 18 you will be required to pay NYS Parks a $10.00 fee for your boating safety certificate. THIS CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR ANYONE OPERATING A PWC-JETSKI IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK & BOATERS ENTERING NJ OR CT WATERS
Our Instructors are New York State and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certified. Our instructors are members of the U.S. Coast Guard Aux and spend many hours assisting the Coast Guard as, Crew on Safety Patrols, Personal Watercraft Coxswains, Maritime Domain Awareness Patrols, Communications, Vessel Safety Checks and Public Education. They are trained in Man Overboard Maneuvers, Search & Rescue Operations, and to assist the Coast Guard with any natural or man made disasters.
